Nice to meet you, I'm Julie!
Photographe d'Aventures
My heart is half in the Vosges and half in Asia. You can move the slider to explore the images.
A little piece of my story, shared with you…
Originally from the beautiful mountains of the Vosges, I first worked in the worlds of graphic design, digital media, and communication. Photography then found its way to me naturally, as an obvious language of expression. I began by photographing concerts and festivals, before documenting weddings in the Vosges and Alsace regions.
Then, I traveled… a lot. And another passion slowly revealed itself: Asia, and its incredibly rich, diverse, and fascinating cultures. These journeys awakened a deep connection to this part of the world, both inspiring and meaningful. I lived in Laos for two years, where I worked for a travel agency and created numerous photo stories : Buddhist festivals, hotels, restaurants, and everyday life scenes.
What truly drives me is adventure: traveling solo (or not), meeting people, opening myself to new cultures, observing, learning… and savoring the simple pleasures of life. All of these experiences have shaped my vision and led me to the work I do today with purpose and conviction: photographer, traveler, and entrepreneur, in service of human stories.

A Love Story Between Two Cultures
Over the years, Southeast Asia has become a second home to me. It was in Laos that I met my partner, who is Franco-Lao. It felt like an instant connection, an obvious bond. A love story born at the crossroads of two cultures. When my professional journey there came to an end, we returned to France together.
Today, we are building our life in the peaceful Vosges countryside, while keeping a strong connection to Asia, where we return almost every year. This dual culture is part of who I am. It shapes my perspective, nurtures my sensitivity, and deeply influences the way I approach and document multicultural weddings.

"Twenty years from now, you'll be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the things you did do. So get off the beaten track. Set sail. Explore. Dream. Discover."- Mark Twain
Feeling, Beyond Words
What Deeply Inspires Me
It is often the simplest things that move me the most. The ones we don’t always notice, but feel deeply, where words are no longer needed:
The joy of a shared glance or a gentle smile,
The comforting warmth of sunny days wrapping around us,
The calming beauty of a sunset,
The vibrant colors of the world,
The feeling of freedom when we step off the beaten path and everything feels lighter,
The curiosity of discovering and tasting flavors from afar,
A deep connection to nature and animals,
The subtlety of human bonds,
The depth of cultures and their symbolism,
The atmosphere of places filled with soul and meaning.
Some of the places that have shaped my journey:
Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Myanmar, Malaysia, Bali, Japan, Morocco, Costa Rica, Italy, the Azores, Portugal, La Réunion… and many more.
My Vision of Photography
To me, life is a great adventure, a collection of meaningful moments, encounters, heart-led choices, and memories that shape who we are.
My approach is first and foremost documentary. I love telling stories as they truly unfold, simply and without artifice. I focus on the moments that often go unnoticed: exchanged glances, gentle smiles, tender gestures, bursts of laughter, tears of joy, and the raw intensity of emotion.
I work mainly with natural light, paying close attention to colors, atmospheres, places, and the energy they carry. Editing is used to enhance the images and bring my signature touch, while always respecting their authenticity. My style, in a few words: luminous, colorful, spontaneous, sensitive, and deeply human.
Whether I’m documenting your wedding, a couple or family session, or telling the story of your business, my intention remains the same: to create sincere, vibrant, and deeply human images that stand the test of time. Based in Gérardmer, in the heart of the Vosges, I work throughout France and wherever your story takes you around the world.
